CitySol

CitySol in New York City is a unique music festival in that it also caters to a green agenda. A number of performers are slated to perform.

The bands join a diverse line-up including Ecstatic Sunshine, No Surrender, Shilpa Ray (ex- Beat the Devil), Burkina Electric, So Percussion, Selan and Blitz the Ambassador, and all will perform at the free event on a 100% solar-powered stage.

Located at Solar One’s East River-side venue in Stuyvesant Cove Park, the festival will run June 26-29 and attempts to “provide a new venue for creative artistic collaborations, while engaging young New Yorkers in an advocacy campaign to bring about stronger policies in support of clean, renewable solar power in New York State.”
